📝INGREDIENTS NOTES

Here is a list of everything you will need to prepare this recipe:

  • Ripe Avocado – The creamy, buttery base. Ripe but not mushy!
  • Fresh cilantro– Adds a bright, herbal note. Use parsley instead (Fresh & neutral).
  • Green onion– Milder than onion, brings just enough bite.
  • Fresh Lime Juice – Adds tang and preserves the green color.
  • Water – to adjust the consistency. You can use unsweetened plant-based milk instead for a slightly richer sauce, if preferred.
  • Garlic Powder – For a gentle garlicky flavor without overpowering.
  • Salt (optional) – Enhances the flavor to your taste.

  • This creamy avocado dressing is the bomb! It was great on black bean burgers, and an even better dip for carrots and other raw vegetables. I added 1/2 tsp kosher salt, 2 TBL olive oil, and 2 TBL water (instead of the 1/2 cup water) and it’s a thick, creamy sauce that tastes great on everything. Best – it keeps its lovely green color in the fridge.

    • I’m so glad you loved it! 💚 Using it on black bean burgers sounds amazing, and I also enjoy it with pasta and over veggies. Your version with olive oil and less water must be super creamy! For an oil-free option, you can use less water and add some silken tofu—it’s one of my favorite secret ingredients, or some cashews. I like also that it keeps its vibrant green color in the fridge; it adds joy to the dishes!😉
