Ingredients
  

  • 1 avocado Ripe
  • ¼ cup cilantro (or parsley, fresh)
  • 1 green onion
  • 2-3 tbsp lime juice Fresh
  • 1/2 cup water (add 1 extra Tbsp. at a time to adjust the desired consistency. You can also substitute it for plant-based milk.)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Optional (depending on your dietary needs and preferences)

  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prep ingredients: Slice open the avocado, juice your lime, and rinse your herbs.
  • Blend: In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Adjust consistency: Add 1 extra tablespoon of water at a time if you prefer a thinner sauce.
  • Taste and tweak: Add salt if needed, or a splash more lime juice for brightness.
  • Serve: Use right away as a dip, sauce, or dressing. Or refrigerate for later use!

Notes

  • Storage: Keep the sauce in an airtight container or small jar with a lid. To help prevent browning, press a piece of parchment or reusable wax wrap directly onto the surface before sealing. Best used within 3–4 days.
  • Spice lovers can add chili flakes or a bit of jalapeño.
  • You can substitute water with any unsweetened plant-based milk.
  • This sauce is best enjoyed fresh, but it stays creamy and green thanks to the lime juice.
