It couldn’t be easier to make this jam! Just blueberries and chia seeds.
No added sugar and no cooking!
Blueberries are super sweet in general, so there is no need to add sugar or sweetener (although you could add one or two tbsp of maple sugar if you wish). In addition to the nutritional properties (Omega 3 and 6, fibers, minerals, and antioxidants), chia seeds absorb liquid and help generate a firmer consistency since it is a thickening agent.
Just 20 min, blending the blueberries and mixing them with chia seeds, and they are ready to enjoy this jam with bread, pancakes, yogurt, or oatmeal.

Ingredients
- 1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
Instructions
- Add the blueberries to a blender at high speed, and blend until smooth.
- Transfer the blueberries to a jar and mix with chia seeds. Let it rest for 15 min in the fridge, waiting for the mixture to gel.
- Enjoy with your favorite bread, pancakes, yogurt, oatmeal, and more!
