Equipment
- Blender/Food processor
Ingredients
- 1 avocado Ripe
- ¼ cup parsley Fresh
- 1 scallion
- 4-6 basil leaves Fresh
- 2 tbsp lime juice Fresh
- ¾ cup unsweetened cashew milk you can add 1 extra Tbsp. at a time to adjust the desired consistency. You can also substitute for another type of plant-based milk.
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Optional (depending on your dietary needs and preferences)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a blender, blend all the ingredients until smooth. You can add 1 extra Tbsp of milk at a time to adjust the desired consistency.
- Use it in your favorite salad or pasta, spread it on sandwiches or burgers. Or enjoy it as a dip!
Notes
If you like, you can add spicy condiments (my family doesn’t like spicy foods, for that reason, my recipes are generally mild)
You can keep this sauce in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. Just keep it in a small bowl or container covered.
