KITCHEN ESSENTIALS
This list contains most of the products I enjoy using for cooking or baking on a daily basis, plus the ones I love, and I include in the video and photos of Simple Veganizer recipes.

Kitchen Appliances
- Ninja Mega Kitchen System: includes blender and food processor. My Ninja is super old, and you cannot find it in the market anymore, but this Ninja BL770 Mega Kitchen System has similar characteristics and features. This appliance would be my first buy if I were starting my vegan cooking journey again! I use it all the time.
- My new acquisition is this NutriBullet blender that I love for smoothies or to blend soups:
- Stand Mixers: I love my KitchenAid Professional 5 Plus.
- Immersion blender: I use this Cuisinart to create a creamy texture for the soups and many more kitchen tasks.
- I have had this Ninja FD401 Foodi 12-in-1 Deluxe XL 8 qt since 2020, and I’m still loving it. She works for me every day. The features I use most of the time are the slow and pressure cooker, air fryer, roast, broil, and sautés.
Other Cooking Essentials
- My favorite Chef Knife.
- I love my adjustable mandoline food slicer for my veggies.
- For plant-based cooking, you’ll need a chopping board for your veggies.
- My go-to pot is this stainless Steel Dutch Oven Casserole. I use it for stews, soups, cooking pasta, and more. I also love this 8-quart Stainless Steel Stock Pot w/Lid for cooking for more people, and my new acquisition, this Lodge 6 Quart Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven.
- I love this Nonstick Griddle Grill Pan. It’s also great for grilling veggies or vegan burgers indoors, plus we are also using it for pancakes.
- Cooking with this Cast Iron Frying Pan Skillet is a great experience. I love making the humita on this pan. It has a versatile size, and it includes a lid.
- I use these small saucepans for sauces or small portions of pasta or rice: a 3-quart nonstick covered saucepan with a lid and a 3-quart stainless Steel.
- I use this Stainless Steel Everyday Pan w/Steamer and Lid for steaming my veggies.
- For baking in the oven, I use these pans. For easy cleaning and keeping them in better shape for a long period of time, I use some silicon mats or parchment paper.
- For ingredient measurement, this set of Measuring Cups and Spoons.
- And this Electric Can Opener is nice to have if you are opening tons of cans per week like me.

Camera and accessories
- Camera: Canon EOS 80D DSLR. It’s an ideal beginner camera for photos and videos. However, I still use it for all my work and don’t think of buying a new one because I love it, and it works with all my lenses. You can also buy a similar but newer model, the Canon EOS 90D DSLR.
- Favorite Lenses for recipes video and photography: Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens. I also use my amazing Canon EF-S 35mm f/2.8 Macro IS STM. The last lens is the one that is on my camera most of the time since it’s great in low-light settings and ideal for close-up food photos.
- Tripod: K&F Concept 74-inch Camera Tripod. It’s tall enough for trying different angles, portable but sturdy, and has a transverse center column that helps to take an overhead shot.
- Tabletop tripod: RetiCAM Tabletop Tripod. I used it for shooting videos close to the food.
- Phone tripod: Overhead Camera Mount Tripod Stand; I use it to shoot videos with my SAMSUNG Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
Lighting
- Main light for video: Godox SL150W II LED Video Light. I live in a gray, cloudy, and rainy area in the United States; therefore, this light is my savior!
- C Stand: Since my Godox Led is heavy, I love using this EACHSHOT C Stand Metal. It’s sturdy, reliable, and easy to move with the wheels from one place to another since I make my videos in my kitchen.
- I use this Neewer Softbox Speed Ring Adapter to attach the Godox LED light to this Godox 32″x 32″ 80cmx80cm Foldable Universal Softbox.
- This kit is my second and third light for filling the shadows during my videos: NEEWER 700W Equivalent Softbox Lighting Kit.
- Flash for photography: because I need artificial light since nature doesn’t help me where I live. I love my Godox TT600 Flash Speedlite with a wireless X-system.
- Softbox Umbrella for flash: Neewer 43″ Diameter Collapsible Reflective Softbox Umbrella.
- Light Stand for the Flash and the softbox umbrella: EMART 7 Ft Light Stand.
- Godox S-Type Bracket Bowens Mount Holder to hold the flash and the umbrella softbox in the light stand.
