Ingredients

  • 1 avocado ripe
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • ¼ cup grape tomatoes chopped
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • ¼ tsp of ground cumin
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop into a bowl.
  • Using a fork, mash the avocado until you reach the desired consistency (I love smooth, but others might prefer it chunky and with little pieces).
  • Add the remaining ingredients and stir well until combined. Taste it in case you need to adjust the flavor or seasonings.
  • Serve with chips, carrots, celeries stalks, etc., and enjoy!

Notes

This sauce is best made and eaten right away. You can keep it for one more day in an air-tight container in the fridge.
You can make it spicier by adding jalapeno peppers or garlic gloves. I’m not adding those since my family doesn’t like spicy food, but you do you!
If you like cilantro, you can add chopped fresh cilantro also.
I used this sauce in my STUFFED BAKED SWEET POTATOES recipe.
