Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups pineapple (fresh or frozen pineapple chunks 225 g)
  • 1 cup kale leaves (packed, stems removed30 g)
  • 1 banana (ripe , fresh or frozen, 100 g)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (or ground flaxseeds or 10 g, optional)
  • 1 to 1 ¼ cups unsweetened plant-based milk (240–300 ml)
  • ½ cup ice (optional)
  • Juice of ½ lime (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Prep the produce – Remove stems from kale, peel the banana, and cut pineapple if using fresh.
  • Add to blender – Place all ingredients in a blender, starting with plant-based milk for easier blending.
  • Blend until smooth – Adjust with more milk for creaminess or ice for thickness.
  • Taste test – Sweeten with more banana or pineapple, or add a splash of lime for brightness.
  • Serve immediately – Pour into glasses and enjoy your tropical green refreshment!

Notes

  • For easier blending in standard blenders, blend kale with plant milk first, then add other ingredients.
  • To turn it into a meal, add silken tofu, soy yogurt, or nut/seed butter.
