STRAWBERRY NICE CREAM – 3 INGREDIENTS DESSERT
Enjoy the delightful taste of a vegan strawberry nice cream, a refreshing dessert perfect for any occasion and time of day. The best part is that it's both healthy and sweet, and you can whip it up in just a few minutes with only three ingredients.
Prep Time 5 minutes mins
Freezer time (for scoopable consistency) 1 hour hr
Course Dessert, Snack
Cuisine Gluten-Free, Vegan
- 3 cups strawberries (frozen)
- 2 bananas (ripe and frozen)
- 1/4 cup plant-based milk (I'm using unsweetened soy milk)
- 1 to 3 tbsp maple syrup (optional if your strawberries are not sweet enough)
Add the frozen strawberries, ripe frozen bananas, and soy milk to a blender or food processor.
Blend the ingredients on high until they are smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender or food processor a few times to ensure that everything is well blended.
If you want your nice cream to be a little sweeter, add 1 to 3 tbsp of maple syrup to the blender or food processor and blend again.
Once the mixture is smooth and creamy and with the right level of sweeteness, you can enjoy it with a soft serve consistency or transfer it to a freezer-safe container* for a firmer and more scoopable texture. Freeze for at least 1 hour or until the nice cream is firm.
When the nice cream is firm, remove it from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes to soften slightly before serving.
To serve, scoop the strawberry nice cream into bowls and enjoy it as is, or top it with your favorite toppings like fresh fruit, chopped nuts, or vegan chocolate chips.
- * Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap to prevent ice crystals from forming.
- This strawberry nice cream can last up to a month in the freezer when stored in an airtight container. It's a perfect dessert to make ahead of time and enjoy whenever you're in the mood for something sweet and refreshing. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften before serving.
