MOJITO MOCKTAIL RECIPE (VEGAN, REFINED SUGAR FREE)

This refreshing Mojito Mocktail recipe is vegan, refined sugar-free, and perfect for a warm weather or year-round healthy party drink. Made with fresh mint, lime juice, and sparkling water, it's a simple anddelicious way to cool down without alcohol or refined sugar.

Equipment

  • Measuring spoons
  • 1 Citrus juicer (for lime juice)
  • 1 Tall glass (12 oz)
  • 1 Long-handled spoon for stirring

Ingredients
  

  • 12-15 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 oz lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1-1.5 tsp maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 3/4 cup sparkling water
  • 3/4 cup coconut water (optional for added flavor or replace with more sparkling water)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime slices and mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Tap the Mint: Take the fresh mint leaves and gently tap or slap them between your palms. This will release the essential oils without bruising or tearing the leaves.
  • Add the Mint to the Glass: Place the tapped mint leaves in the bottom of a 12-oz glass.
  • Add Lime Juice, liquids, sweetener, and ice: Pour lime juice over the mint leaves, sparkling water and coconut water (if using), maple syrup, ice, and stir.
  • Garnish: To garnish the glass, add a fewslices of lime and a sprig of mint.
  • Serve: Enjoy your refreshing alcohol and refined sugar-free mojito!

Notes

  • You can add a splash of unsweetened pineapple juice or use flavored sparkling water for extra flavor.
  • If you like a more tangy flavor, adjust the lime juice to your liking.
  • You can omit the coconut water if you prefer a more traditional mojito taste.
