- ½ cup fresh blueberries for the lemonade + ¼ extra for adding into the molds.
- ¼ cup fresh strawberries for the lemonade + ¼ extra for adding into the molds.
- ¼ cup lemon juice fresh.
- ¾ cup water
- 3 Medjool dates pitted (optional if berries aren’t sweet enough for you).
Place the blueberries (1/2 cup), strawberries (1/4 cup), lemon juice, water, and dates in a blender to make the blueberry, strawberry lemonade.
Blend until smooth and combined.
Taste to adjust some of the flavors. Set aside.
Add the extra blueberries and strawberries (cut the strawberries into thin pieces) into the molds.
Then pour the blueberry, strawberry lemonade into popsicle molds.
Add the sticks and freeze for 4-5 hours or until they are frozen (I usually make them and let them freeze overnight).
Enjoy your healthy and fresh yummy snack!
- If the dates are a little bit hard on your blender, you could soak them in water for 2 hours previous to the popsicle preparation.
- Always test the preparation before pouring it into the molds and placing it in the freezer. The mixture will taste less sweet once it is frozen.
